So, it's Sunday afternoon here, and whilst walking downstairs to the bottom of my apartment complex, I noticed something.

There's five apartments in this complex (six, if you count the owner's temporary quarters), and as I walked downstairs, there was an interesting and consistent trend. From behind every single door I walked past, came the sound of car-jackings, police chases, and gang violence.

Nobody in this complex really knows each other, and yet, every single resident, myself included, is playing Grand Theft Auto IV simultaneously. I'm not sure I've seen anything quite as culturually pervasive since Helvetica.
